# Status, discussion & fixes

> Mark comments open, fixed or won't fix, reply and assign, and check that fixes really landed on the site.

An audit is a to-do list for whoever fixes the site. Snags tracks where each comment stands, so nothing slips between the person who reported it and the person who fixed it.

## Status

Every comment is **open**, **fixed** or **won't fix**. Anyone signed in on the audit page can change it. Everyone with the link sees the status and who set it, and can filter by it.

Status also changes on its own:

- when the comment's [Linear, GitHub or Jira issue](/docs/integrations) is closed or reopened
- when a [coding agent](/docs/mcp) marks it fixed, with the commit that fixed it

A status someone set by hand is never overridden by a tracker.

## Discussion and assignees

On Team, the people working on an audit get a discussion under each comment. That's the audit's author and the workspace members who can see its site.

- **Reply** to ask or answer a question, and `@mention` someone to bring them in.
- **Assign** the comment to the person who should fix it.

Replies and assignees are seen only by those people. Others with the link never see them.

Snags emails the audit's author, the assignee, earlier repliers and anyone mentioned when someone replies, mentions or assigns them, or changes the comment's status. Every email has a link to stop them.

## Check that it's really fixed

A comment marked fixed asks: **Is it fixed on the site?** Open the page, look, and choose:

- **Looks fixed** to record that you checked it.
- **Still broken** to reopen it, with a reply saying what's still wrong.

**Check fixes** in the filter bar walks through every fixed comment nobody has checked yet, one after another.
