Connect Jira

  1. Go to app.snags.com/integrations and sign in.
  2. Select Connect next to Jira, sign in to Atlassian and allow Snags.
  3. Choose the project for new issues.

Snags creates a Task, or a Bug where the project has no Task type. If neither exists, it uses the project's first issue type that isn't a subtask.

If Jira access is removed or expires, the connection says it isn't answering, with a link to connect it again. See Trackers and sync for who can create issues.

Issues

From an audit page, Create issue on a comment creates an issue in that project with the comment, page, element, screenshot, steps and console errors, and a link back to the comment in Snags.

Status sync

Snags checks Jira every 15 minutes. When an issue reaches a done status, the comment is marked fixed, or won't fix when its resolution says so (such as Won't Do, Declined or Duplicate). Moving it back reopens a comment the sync had closed.
